Gripe water?!

I have a one month one baby that has been having trouble with gas. He stays fussy. I heard gripe water would help but I also heard that it’s bad for them. Has anyone heard bad things about it

I use gripe water for my little one when she’s fussy. I mix it with 1/2 oz of breast milk or formula then burp her and she calms right down. My pediatrician recommended it and it’s been a lifesaver. The simethicone did nothing for her. Every baby is different though so go with what you are comfortable with and what works for your baby!

It apparently use ti be made with alcohol in it. 
I used it occasionally with both if my boys when they were younger.
But my dr with my 2nd suggested trying probiotics.

I've used it for my son who has a milk allergy, trouble with constipation and acid reflux and it was a life savor my pediatrician recommend it. The gas stops did nothing for him only the gripe water

Simethicone drops are safe for gas. Some gripe waters gave alcohol in them, just be sure to read the label!
