High blood pressure induction?

Any experience with an induction at 39 weeks? My blood pressure has been getting High and they are inducing me. I’m such a nervous wreck. 39+1 day.

I go in this evening to start induction due to my BP. I’ll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I’m super nervous and of course not the way I planned it, but also thankful because I’ve been a nervous wreck watching my BP creep up (it’s been around 115/80 the whole pregnancy until a few weeks ago). I’ve been just so worried something will go wrong or I won’t notice preeclampsia symptoms in time. I will feel better having my little one out and in my arms! Wishing you a safe and smooth delivery! 39 weeks hypertension, induced with my first. It was not my plan at all and made me very tense and stressed, which now I know most likely made labor longer and more difficult. My best advice would be to stay calm and do not stress over the situation. It will be much easier for your body to progress if your open and accepting, relaxed (as possible) and calm. Best of luck.

I was inducted last week because of my BP going up. It was a long process, but worth it in the end.

Happened to me at 38 weeks. Definitely overwhelming cause you aren’t expecting it. But just think, you get to meet your baby at the end of it!
