Hi all, I’m in a bit of a tough spot. I’m a full time nanny Monday - Friday for a 10 month old. His mom works from home about 4 days out of the week, but now his siblings (10,12,16) are home all day for summer break. I’ve been wanting to talk to his mom for a while now, she likes to come out from her office a lot and visit the baby which I understand, but sometimes it can be really disruptive and then I have to spend the next hour calming him down after his mom goes back upstairs for work. Now that his siblings are home all day it’s gotten even harder!! I can’t get the baby to focus to eat(which is hard enough already), can’t have play time without him getting distracted by them, and then when I finally get him to pay attention to playtime/book time his mom comes down and I have to do the whole thing over again!! I love the family I work for and they are such nice people, but I’m going crazy!!! Does anyone have any tips/ advice on how I should approach this situation or should I just drop it and try and deal with it? I haven’t said anything yet because it’s still THEIR house and THEIR baby so I don’t want it to come off as me being disrespectful/not taking their feelings into consideration, but it’s getting really hard for me to do my job ):
