What're some fun ways to break the news to your SO?

I bought a onesie and laid it on the bed with my positive tests! I ordered a teddy bear that his his favorite hockey team in it but I just couldn't wait for it to come. I was too excited to hold that secret in haha.

I bought him a small box of Lucky Charms (we found out the week of st. Patty's Day) and had a "prize" at the bottom that was a note telling him our own little "lucky charm" was coming in November.

My husband asked why to tell his boss that he couldn't come into work (he was going with me to an out of town doctors appointment) the day before April fools day. I nonchalantly walked by my husband and said, "because your wife is knocked up." I had gotten the positive home pregnancy test 5 days before but because of such an early miscarriage last time I put the test back in its box and hid it. I had a scheduled routine family doctor visit coming up and decided I'd have them test me again. I had just played it off like I knew my period was coming any day- got pads and everything. We got the urine test confirmation on March 31, 2015 and the blood test confirmation call on April Fools Day. Our princess is due December 1, 2015.
