I live in Texas and they barely give out government benefits here. My boyfriend and I live together at his parents house. Our parents know and they are excited and will probably help how they can but I want to be independent. I’m almost 19 but my boyfriend just turned 18. I don’t know what to expect at all or how to prepare. I’m about 4 weeks (my period was supposed to come tomorrow) and my appointment is at 6 weeks on July 3rd. I don’t know where I’m going with this. How the fuck do I prepare for a baby

Pregnancy Medicaid, and start saving. Buy what you can secondhand (from only people you trust. Indiana has bedbug issues and you don’t want to play that game.) Start puking money, whatever extra you have on a gift card. See if you have government assistance in your area for formula.

I live in Texas and getting any benefs you need is rely pretty easy. Also you and the father should get a job and make it work that's what me and my husband did when we became parents at 17 and 19 so trust me it's possible .

Save up for a little affordable apartment it won't be easy but it's possible also you need to sign up for pregnant women Medicaid and go ahead and get on wic for extra food and then formula, once the baby is here. Also you can try for food stamps if you live with someone try to have them right a letter saying you at least pay something

We both work full time and overtime but it still ain’t shit because we make minimum wage / slightly above
Sign up for Medicaid i did it was easy and im also in texas and it was simple and since your pregnant they accept you pretty quick.

Yes if you had pregnancy medicaid once your child is born he or she would automatically get it and medicaid pays for everything including hospital.

I have medical insurance for myself I don’t pay for anything except the hospital. Is this so I can get insurance for my baby or? I’m sorry idk how any of this works
