Pubic bone Pressure when using the bathroom? 29 weeks

Question

I always feel like theres a lot of pubic bone pressure very mild pain when I have to pee really bad or have a bowel movement. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have a drs appt tomorrow so I'll bring it up but just wondering if I'm alone in this.

There are six bones that make up your pelvic area, with ligaments holding them together as joints. Elastin is making your ligaments relax to prepare for birth when the baby will need to go through that whole area. I have the pain in mine too, but it’s pretty much all the time. Tylenol can help take the edge off if it gets too bad, and sleeping with a pillow between your knees helps. Otherwise, there’s really not a lot they can do for you. It’s just something you will have to deal with until you deliver and things work back to normal. Good luck.
