Would you save your virginity til marriage?

My parents seem to be pretty strict about it and I was just wondering what your thoughts are about it?

The only problem I see with people saving themselves is I fear people will rush into marriage because of their sexual frustration.

Sex means different things to different people. For some it is an act that requires emotional intimacy. For some it requires a certain level or type of commitment. For some it is an exploration of desire. For some it is an exploration of their relationship. For some it is simply fun. For some it is the most meaningful act. For some it is nothing more than scratching an itch.
There is no right or wrong. There are only choices. My only suggestion would be, before you have sex ask yourself some questions. Why do I want to have sex? Why do I want to have sex with this person? What do I want to gain from this experience? Do I feel ready for this act? Asking these questions might help you figure out the who, what, when and why for you. 
I would also like to add, masterbate and explore your body, before you have sex. Learn what you do and don't like. Be comfortable talking about your body and comunicating what you want before you have sex.
Learn about the different types of contraception and which will work best for you. And always practice safe sex.

My mom (since my dad would never have talked about such a topic) never stressed waiting. Just to use protection. So I didn’t grow up in a strict household in that way. For me I would’ve waited for the right person. The first person I had sex with was my ex-fiancé at 21. I had wanted to wait until I wasn’t a teenager and I found someone I loved. Granted he and I didn’t work out. After I experimented more and I’m glad I did. In the end I’m glad I didn’t save it but it’s totally different for each person. My ex’s brother and sister in law rushes into marriage since she was religious and wanted to wait. They’re fairly unhappy because they didn’t know each other well enough

I did not wait until marriage but my husband did. When I met him I knew that I wanted to wait and it was hard but it helped with a lot of problems I had with guys before hand. I’m glad he waited and that we didn’t have sex before our marriage.
Now if you meet a guy and you aren’t having sex just to rebel then you’re the only one who can make that decision. Biggest thing is be smart and use some sort of protection.

My plan had always been to wait till marriage. When i first started dating my now husband we would mess around and not have sex. The plan was to wait till marriage. Once we got engaged we did have sex but only a few times and honestly im glad i didnt wait because the first couple of times it was hard to figure it all out since we were both virgins but once we relaxed and used lube it was super easy and now we have amazing sex now that we are married.

My husband and I were both raised to believe sex is something that should only be shared between marriage mates. So we both waited and honestly I’m so happy we did. We were both able to discover what we liked and didn’t like together and I love that we have only been with each other and so does he. It’s something that I believe has made our bond incredibly strong. We’ve been married 6 years now and have a beautiful one year old baby girl. 
But it was our own choice to wait til marriage. It is definitely something you need to decide for yourself. Sex means different things to different people
