Why does my baby’s lip look like that ?

So we got a 3d ultrasound the other day and in two of our pictures her mouth looks like this

But in the others it looks fine

Is there a reason her lip would look like that in some pictures and not others ?

My son is now 4 and his looked like that also. It’s just the way the ultrasounds look. I wouldn’t worry, ask your OB at your next appt. :)

The fluid warps the image sometimes , it's hard to get it super clear

My 3D looked way worse, to me it looked like there was no doubt a cleft lip. Told my OB about it and she double checked in a normal US for me. Said baby looked just fine! The 3D relies on fluids and sometimes it makes the photo distorted.

my sons 4 months & his was the same & his lips are fine its just where baby is squished
