So I’ve had my nose pierced since March of this year, but no matter how much I wash it and keep it clean this pesky bump won’t go away, any advice?

definitely switch to a hoop. it snags a lot less. 
no matter what anyone says DO NOT USE tea tree oil, it dries it out way too much. use a saline solution (also called wound wash) from walmart or the drug store. soak a cotton ball in it and hold it to the piercing for 10 minutes a few times a day.

That's a keloid. I have gotten it once with my nose piercing I've had since I was 17. Twice when it was pierced on the other side when I was 16. Go to your piercer and if they have their own cleaning product be sure to use it. 
The key to getting mine to go away was mixing baby aspirin with a touch of water to make a paste and apply for 2-3 days. It works like a charm and I haven't had an issue since. I also wash my face everyday. Along with when it was firstly pierced I cleaned it with sea salt water as per my piercer

My friend got hers done the same day but changed hers to a hoop, and hers hasn’t been infected so is there a chance if I change it from a stud that will help?

Me too since March but I never got the bump I think you get the bump when you overclean it I don’t clean mine ever because I shower everyday I simply let the hot water run on it and it helps and to get rid of the bump use natural sea salt with warm distilled water on it.

some people are just prone to keloids but you could try switching to a hoop and washing your face w a salt soap + moisturizing w raw shea butter also maybe cold witch hazel+ drop of tea tree oil cold compress 2/3 times a day inbetween face washes
