Do you get offended when someone makes a racist joke?

Personally I don’t get offended I can take a joke without getting my feelings hurt. Me and my husband are pretty big in to comedy we go to shows often and watch comedians on tv and even some of the biggest names in comedy make jokes about race. I do think that a joke can be taken to far though and it depends on the joke. That being said I don’t go around telling jokes about race but when I go to a comedy show I don’t get offended when they make a joke about my race.

All the “no it’s just a joke” people are clearly racists in one way or another and that is an absolute shame.

It really depends on the joke. Some of you will say "oh you can say white people cant dance but when I call you a dirty porch monkey you get offended 🤨"  .....it depends on the joke...

It’s especially frustrating when people make racist jokes but then get all mad when someone else does it but it’s ok for them to do it because they are this race or that race but if someone else say it it’s wrong. 
If people truly want to end racism they should start with themselves.

I try not to get offended all the time and instead correct people as much as I can... like I have a coworker who’s just... ignorant to a degree but I don’t think he means things in a hateful way. Like he’ll call mentally handicapped people regarded or some shit & I’ll be like “do you mean mentally handicapped?” Or something. Like I don’t think he catches these things but I hate when he does it. He’s also referred to black people as the blacks & references how they’re all ghetto 🤦🏻‍♀️

My gayest and blackest friend calls me a n word (I'm so white) and I call him h word. People in public look at us funny. We love racist jokes.
