Ladies little back story

I’ve had this guy on IG for who knows how long, just got out of my relationship when me and him started talking, innocent. Fast forward to months later happily in a relationship, he would always talk about this female best friend never knew who she was.

Me and this guy went to the same HS he’s about 4 years older so he’s currently 27 & I’m 23 so we know a lot of the same people.

Finally came to the day he wanted me to meet her... I froze, this girl is my uncles ex gf. (My uncle is 30years old) and he also went to our HS.) She put her hands on him and broke up with him the day after my grandpa (his dad) passed away.

I started boiling from the inside and walked away didn’t say I word.

I explained what happened and he keeps asking me to give her a chance.. am I wrong because I told him I don’t want to hear about her or see her again, that’s his best friend I’ll respect that. I just never want to see her. Because that’s my uncle.

He says I’m being dramatic and I should give her a chance and now she’s telling him not to be with me because I’m being dramatic
