Spermicide...

Any of you ladies have experience with spermicide? Does it work? I'm 8 weeks PP and got the ok from my doctor to have sex again (yayyy!).. although my husband knows not to cum inside me he still doesn't want to use a condom and I just started back on birth control a week ago. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with it 😊
