Just wondering if anyone is getting induced early? 
I had a doctors appointment today I am 32 weeks, due aug 15th and doctor brought up being induced on aug 8th. Baby is healthy weighing a week early.

Hell no I don’t want to get induced unless there is an actual medical reason - like my baby is in distress or i am. I trust my body to do what it’s designed to do, no need to rush

I’m being induced at 37 weeks because of chronic high blood pressure. I’m due August 2nd but will be induced July 13th. Don’t listen to all the negativity about being induced, only you and your  doctor know what’s best for your situation. Good luck momma!

I’m planning on an all natural unmedicated water birth so absolutely not! The only way I’m getting induced is if I’m forced to after 42 weeks😂

I wouldn’t. Inducing early can increase your risk of c-section and other complications by quite a lot. If it’s not medically necessary, I wouldn’t want to risk that.

I've had 3 successful inductions at 39 weeks. I was always a bit dialated already though. I'll be induced with this pregnancy also. It's a personal choice between you and your doctor. My first reason is how far I live from my hospital, I'd need an ambulance if my water was to break most likely. Second is how far my husband works from home, he'd miss the birth. It's completely up to you.

With my first child,I was induced 38 weeks. Doctor excuse was that the hospital will be full on that date. After delivery, she end up in neonatal care for 1 week due to low glucose. I never realised that she wasn't taking breast as the hospital here in malta refused formula.  Mine 2nd baby was 40 weeks 1 day without induce and everything went perfect. I will never induce again hopefully.  Try to carry your baby full term, as long as all is well. Wish u the best

I am being induced early due to BP. My son and I went into bad distress when I went into labor with him and this one I have already been in the hospital for my BP so I am being induced early. My son went naturally at 37 weeks so hopefully this little girl does too so I dont need to be Induced lol

I wouldnt mind if mine offered! I was induced at 41 weeks with my 1st and it went great. I def dont want to deliver a huge baby again so if mine is weighing large I'm going to ask about inducing right at 40 or a week before

It surprises me how different doctors can be. My doctor only induces if medically necessary. But, people induce for other reason too.

I wouldn’t induce early I’m surprised a doctor even suggested that. I had to be induced because my water broke and I wasn’t having contractions and it was honestly pretty awful - don’t recommend!
