I was thinking about asking my FIL if he wants to slow dance with me at my wedding because my dad has never been in my life and my fiancé’s dad has been like a father to me since we met.

Do it! My father was not very involved  in my life and did not approve of my marrage. So i did all the traditional father/daughter pictures with my father in law. He loved it and I treasure the photos.
