Why do I taste iron

So this is my second pregnancy after 4 years I just found out a couple days ago have my first ultrasound set up for next Friday

Doctors are not sure how far along I am yet because I had a full period in April but only a 2 in a half day long one in May.. so we still don’t know how many weeks yet

But I keep getting the taste of iron in my mouth

Like The only way I can Describe it is if someone was sucking on a bunch of change 😂🙄 I don’t remember having this with my daughter at all

Anyone know why this could be happening
