Hi everyone!

My mother in law has a beach house about 2 hours from where I live. She said it is open the whole month of August. My partner and I want to take a little vacation before the baby comes, but we are concerned if I go into labor while we are down there? What would you do- would you risk it? I’m due August 24 with my first.

The closest hospital down there isn’t bad distance-wise but I definitely don’t want to give birth at some unknown new hospital. My thought is that we would drive right back if I were to go into labor. I hope we would have 2 hours? What do you think?
