Today I have been passing a ton of mucus. It isn't bloody or pink or anything, just clear, but coming out in big globs. Is this the mucus plug or just discharge?

A little background: My daughter was 2 and a half weeks early and water broke well into labor, never noticed a mucus plug passing. I had literally been checked 2 days before and had minimal dilation and told not to expect baby anytime soon. (Nearly 3 years ago)

This time: I have been having braxton hicks for about 5 weeks (I'm 34 weeks pregnant now) and had back labor type braxton hicks last Saturday and had to be on rest all day. But Tuesday was checked and cleared that no dilation or thinning of membrane has occurred...sooo...thoughts?
