Are Baby Registry's Free ?

I'm sorry if I sound ignorant or anything but being a first time mom I really don't know. I've seen girl's get free gift bags with baby stuff and always wondered if the registry is free or do you have to pay ?

Target has the best gift bag. I never paid for any registry and I went to target, buy buy baby, and babies r us.

Babies r us has incentives that the others don't for registering with them. You get a percentage of the money spent on your registry back on a gift card post birth that you can then use for other needs like diapers. The other stores don't offer that. The gift bags are free when you register and vary by store.

I did mine online and I didn't have to pay for either. I did target and buy buy baby. I've never heard anyone having to pay anywhere so I think you are all good.

Mine have all been free...I have a Babies R us, Target, and a BabyList! BabyList is great because I have it as an app on my iPhone and it links all your registrys on there.
