Does anyone have a platypelloid pelvis? My midwife told me today I have a flat pelvis and told me it is platypelloid. She said this is the reason I had an emergency c-section with my previous pregnancy. Then she says it is unlikely I will be able to give birth naturally due to my flat pelvis shape. ( wish I had know this the last pregnancy so I didn’t have a 30 hour labor that led to emergency c-section)

Does anyone have this? Do you know if it’s hereditary?
