What happenend to my ovulation?

Day 24 I thought I was about to ovulate and then suddenly the next day the line is faint. What happened?

Answer

You either missed your peak around your darkest line (still a possibility of getting pregnant so you can still BD!) Or you may not have ovulated yet, or may not this cycle. Some don't ovulate every cycle. Keep testing. If after a few months this keeps happening and you never get a dark line mention it to your doctor.
Make sure to test twice a day to capture your peak and don't drink a whole lot so you don't dilute the hormone.
