Dr.  I think its a little silly to buy one. Its not recommended and tbh is it that safe? 100% proven that its fine to check every day or whatever at home..? No. Its still frequency waves, and it can cause anxiety when you cant find it

there are no risks in using a home doppler, my OBGYN and many people I know OBGYNs say its completely fine to use it everyday if you wanted because it's only using sound waves theres no radiation like ultrasounds.

If you really want to check daily they sell stethoscopes for pregnancy. Probably harder to use but definitely safer than using a Doppler regularly.

I have never used a home doppler during my pregnancy. I know they offer reassurance for some, but after looking into it I didn’t feel it like it was worth the risk for me.
