Could my doctor be wrong ?!

Question

Im 16+4 and I have been told that my placenta is in front and that I won’t feel baby for a while but I know I do !! For about a week now when I lie down I feel waves ... anyone else have a placenta located in front and feeling early ?

It’s an anterior placenta and it can be positioned in front but not interfering with movement. I had one (and it was confirmed multiple times on ultrasound) and felt movement early and frequently- it can be in the front but high/low/tilted and not blocking baby.

I’ve had an anterior placenta for both pregnancies. I am very in tune with my body. I felt my first at 14 weeks and this one at 11 weeks. Everyone will be different. It also depends on actual placement of the placenta. I’ve heard from women who have had both that with their posterior placentas the movement was much larger and stronger.

I have an anterior placenta too, second pregnancy and I felt this bub at 14 wks. 
My first pregnancy was also anterior placenta and I didn’t feel him til around 22-24 weeks so this time I thought would be the same but totally different

I have an anterior placenta and just felt my little dude today. It felt like a limb poked my abdomen but was slightly muffled feeling. Idk how else to describe it but I’m 16w2d first baby

I have that with both the first i could nit feel until late the 2nd and current i could feel about 12 weeks if i laid just right and focused

I have an anterior placenta and I think I started feeling movement at 16 weeks as well. I definitely felt movement at 17 weeks and felt it consistently by 18 weeks.

I have anterior placenta too and I knew it and I could feel the baby before my doctor could confirm it. They just tell you that because it's common for women with anterior  placenta to not feel the baby until later and they don't want you panicking thinking something is wrong if you happen to not feel the baby until week 20-24.

Yeah that’s usually for first time moms, when you have placenta previa. My friend has it and she’s get her baby around 16 weeks also
