Can you be pregnant and still have your menses?

I'm only 6 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy and everything was fine until I saw dark brown discharge on Thursday. I thought it was a usual discharge but yesterday and today, the discharge is a heavy red flow and I'm so confused. What do I do?

It’s not possible to have a period while pregnant. A period is your body shedding its uterine lining because an egg did not implant. Bleeding/ spotting during pregnancy can happen for various reasons but should be discussed with your dr.

No but some women still bleed during their pregnancy (rate but happens). Sadly if it’s a miscarriage then there isn’t anything you can do but take care of yourself and take it easy.
