Anyone into cake decorating/baking?

Hello!
I recently went to my first cake decorating class and now I want to learn so much more! How did y’all get into it, where did you buy supplies, and how long did it take before you thought your work was good? Also, any tips for beginners?
p.s. I would love to do it as a hobby!

I got all of my tools from Wilton at Joann’s craft store or Michael’s craft store. They always have coupons for the Wilton tools that I need to decorate cakes. I took a couple classes on Wilton methods, so maybe you could look into some more classes in your local craft store. I made my first homemade cake when I was 11. I had patience over the years even though it was sometimes frustrating when I made a mistake. Now I have spread out from just cakes and I like to create new exciting desserts that look amazing! I’m sure you are awesome at creating desserts! Good luck!
