Our friends texted my husband to see if they could come meet our baby (20 days old) tonight. I said that would be fine and asked my husband to find out if they were bringing dinner or if I should plan to make something for us. He calls me to see what I want to make and what they should bring. I told him that I was not cooking for them and they could come over after dinner. Am I being hormonal or is it a little rude to ask to come meet the baby and expect me to cook?  Not 100% sure how the conversation went so DH may have invited them to dinner, in which case I'll just kill him later ;)
