How much does dad help?

How do couples out there share the parenting duties? I’ve really struggled with my husband about this. I’m a stay at home mom but through the week, I have my daughter from 5:00 until her bedtime around 6:30. He takes “night duty” from about 9pm-5am and she gets a diaper change maybe twice in that time. My husband let’s me sleep in until 8 on Saturday and Sunday but again, I have her all day those days too. He seems to think letting me sleep in, should mean he has the rest of the day to himself. Which is so frustrating.

We both work full time. We split baby duties pretty 50/50. On Saturday mornings he is off until noon. He can sleep in, go to the gun range, work out or do whatever he wants during that time frame. On Sunday mornings I am off until noon. We both know we cannot do anything just for ourselves outside of that time without asking for approval from the other.

My partner leaves for work at 6:30 am and gets home at 5:30 PM. As soon as he gets home he takes over with the little man while I get dinner ready, he feeds him his evening bottle and he helps with baths and also bathes my daughter on bath nights. On the weekends we share equally and pretty much take it in turns to feed, change etc.. I feel lucky that he's pretty hands on dad. He never helped me  with night times though  hes pretty useless after 12am 😂 thankfully baby sleeps through now.

I work Monday Thursday and Sunday and I have the baby all day everyday and I wake up every single night with the baby and he lets me sleep in on Saturday mornings

I'm a SAHM and we both tag team evenings, until bedtime which he does. Then on Saturday I have responsibility for baby, on Sunday he does. It works out great! 
Communication is key in figuring this out. I spent a while feeling resentful for having to take care of baby on weekends, turned out he was happy to take one day, I just had to ask.

Mines work days and then over nights often . Does his gym thing it’s usually me at night with them and morning but He just had them for 5days alone since I had a long drill week lol so He now knows how I feel lol

When he is off we’re al in the same room interacting with her. We equally change diapers and he tends to give her her bottles while he’s home to connect with her more. I stay at home and he works full time. So when he gets home from work hers able to feed her once. 
I shower before bed and he changes her diaper and puts her in PJs and hangs out then I take her and put her to sleep. I’m the only one who can get her to sleep, I don’t mind.

My sons father watches him while I work part time 3-4 days a week. 
That’s it. No financial help, he doesn’t hang out with my son unless I’m working. That’s it.

Weekends we both share her equally unless he does errands for us 
I work two days a week 3-9 and my mom watches her until hubby is home around 530 and then he has her until I’m home
He does very physically demanding construction work but still tries to help 
Sometimes he’s super tired but so am I he says 😂😂😂

For the most part we split the "bad" nights. She's thankfully getting to be a better sleeper but it's never a guarantee.  We basically go back and forth so neither of us has to go to work exhausted repeatedly.  Outside of that I'd say we are split 60-40% of her care.  I definitely have to tell him when he needs to put whatever his plans are on hold because I need time to shower without interruptions or work on something without her distracting me. It's extremely irritating that I have to tell him my needs but I'd rather tell him than be resentful and smell like a zoo.
