Do OPK's work for women with PCOS?

Hi all! I just finished my first round of Clomid 50mg and didn't test, because I've read that OPK's don't work for women with PCOS. Do any of you think otherwise? I was told that they will constantly show a high LH surge. Need some info before I head out and spend the money.

I've tried many from drugstores but my doctor recommended I buy from testsforless.com I used them last month but didn't ovulate (and didn't get crazy responses like I do when I buy from Walgreens/cvs, etc). I'm on CD 15 & should be ovulating tomorrow. This cycle they uped my clomid so it's looking promising for ovulation!

They were accurate with me when I did clomid. I didn't ovulate a couple of cycles and never got a positive, but when I did ovulate I got a surge. I would recommend them. I bought cheap ones online and thought they were worth it. I always wait a couple of days after I finish clomid/femara so that I don't get a false positive. Good luck!

I have used OPKS and they have shown ovulation for me. I am also taking letrozole cycle days 3-7.

No unfortunately I have not. Its been 4 years trying, and the last year with meds. I was put on metformin for now and then in a couple months try another fertility drug... good luck and baby dust.

I have PCOS, and use them and get my high when I'm suppose to. I had an ultra sound done at ovulation time and they said in the next day or two and the OPKS worked. I buy the cheap ones online. Think it's the wondfo brand or something close to that. I've also bought the cheap ones at store but those are still $20 for 20 sticks
