Do you wake your baby to burp him if he fall asleep while feeding

If at night lo fall asleep while feeding do you still burp him, I find myself debating it every night, mind you he doesn’t ever spit up and normally doesn’t have that much gas so yeah.

You can still burp a sleeping baby. Just slowly put them over you shoulder and burp them a little softer adding a little bop into it and they usually don’t wake up

Wake no. But I would burb him. If I didn’t he get sick all over himself.

Only if I heard him swallow too much air. Sometimes he eats very slowly while falling asleep and doesn’t need to be burped.

My daughter didn’t really need to be burped.... some babies do because they suck in a lot of air.... I would say it depends on your child... I read an article about how burping a baby was something we started doing because one day someone accidentally burped their child and bam 💥 now it was a must..
