Do I Need To Wear Make-up To Work?

Question

I work in a retail clothing department store. I have blemishes and often breakout in acne. I also have eczema. So I’ve been going in bare faced to give my skin a break but I look like horseshit. I’m also one of the 2 co-assistant managers. What do you guys think?

I’m a firm believer that nobody should be required to wear makeup. I have extremely sensitive skin and it irritates my skin so I never wear it. I also rarely have acne but my opinion still stands.

I clicked yes on accident but no you don’t. I wear make up on occasion I’ve never really grown up wearing makeup I know it does nothing for your skin most times and also I think the cheerleaders from high school really scared the fuck out of me when I saw that without make up because they wore so much of it so often....but I work in Higher Education I work with students and outside parties and I don’t always wear make up but my face does not break out either so do whatever makes you happy bottom line

I don't see the problem there. Nobody is required to wear make up unless it's written in a work contract. I know some places do require make up but they have to specify that.
