I'm 13 weeks pregnant so I still have lots of time to decide, but I have such a deep rooted fear of natural birth - always have. I keep reading birth stories of both methods and scenarios and it's really scaring me. I'll sometimes cry, shutdown or get very bad anxiety for a day or two. Can anyone give me some advice? I think for me a c-section might be best but I hate the scar and recovery time that comes with it. At the same time, I've read natural birth cases that has been so much more traumatic than any c-section.

I should also mention that I had a traumatic accident that required emergency surgery and weeks of recovery from a snowboarding accident that damaged the outside and inside of my vagina. I still get numbness sometimes and I'm afraid natural birth will be worse with the existing scar tissue and nerve damage.
