I have been anxiously waiting for my first appointment with my midwife. I was suppose to have an appointment in July with my last pregnancy at 8 weeks, but I miscarried. I will have mine this time around next Tuesday at 7/8 weeks. I'm curious, how long does the first appointment take and what happens during the appointment? I'm assuming I'll be examined and we will look for a heartbeat. I am excited and nervous!
