Is it okay to test 11dpo?

I would normal wait but I’m suppose to go for drinks for my brother engagement and I don’t want to tell anyone why I’m not drinking as I’ve had 3 miscarriages, but do you think if I test at 11dpo (the day I’m suppose to be going out) I could get a positive if I am pregnant, with my other pregnancy’s I’ve always had a positive by 10/11dpo but I know it can take longer sometimes.

If not I’m thinking of having non alcoholic cocktails as passing them off as normal cocktails.
