25 week old refuses to take a bottle
After 14 different bottles, sippy cups, nipple materials, etc. (from Comotomo, Nanabébé, to the super cheap Gerber bottle) my little one refuses to take breast milk from anything but me. We started offering it when he about 12 weeks old and it has been a fight since then. We’ve tried all the tricks, positions, and different people offering bottles. We’ve left him for 8, 6, and 4 hours at a time and he holds out and refuses. We’ve tried frozen, milk freshly pumped milk, and formula. I’ve talked to his pediatrician and a lactation consultant and their advise hasn’t worked either. Unfortunately, I had to resign from my job due to this and we can’t afford for me not to work. I also don’t get a break ever. Anybody out there having a similar issue? What has worked for you? This is my 3rd child and I have never experienced anything like this. I’m almost ready to give up just accept that we won’t have a break (or money) for a while.
