Lump on balls

So my bf has a lump on his balls lol tmi but it looks kinda like a pimple. I squeezed it but it wasnt a pimple it hurts him tho when he squeezes it but it doesnt bother him just if he touches it. We thought it was a inggrown hair because it has a black circle around it from the inside but u can see it. Do yall know what this can be. Well idk bc i noticed it a couple of months ago n forgot abt it n last night he was like it hurted there n looked n it was still there.
