OPKs are confusing me.

My partner and I have just started TTC this past month and I have used Glow for a considerable amount of time for period tracking before that.

I have a regular 27-28 cycle and have always been fairly aware of my CM. Despite these things I wanted to use OPKs for at least this first month to see if it lined up with the app and my ideas of my body already. I was using the strip tests the two days before and first day of a high LH reading and then had 4 days of high readings and felt confused that I may have been reading them incorrectly/the app was scanning incorrectly. Note: my EWCM for the first three days of high readings and then quickly returned to creamy and sticky.

I switched to Clear Blue Advanced to see if that was going to be clearer for me and I have still received 2 more days of fertile window (flashing smiley) readings even though the test line is faint when I pull the test side out of the device. Any ideas? Do I need to contact Clear Blue?

P.s. my partner and I did the BD one all right eight days according to the first positive test and my CM
