Yah mucus plug doesnt mean much, they often grow  back. Now if it was your bloody show with it, thats a bit different.

Mine looked just like that and my water broke 5 days later. Although they do say it can grow back, doesn’t mean it will

UPDATE: tons and tons and tons of contractions since i lost my mucus plug but my cervix is still closed. Doc said it probably happened because the babies dropped and I’m beginning to efface (that was Thursday so we will see if there’s more progress at my appointment this Wednesday)

It’s only concerning if it is blood tinged or followed by consistent contractions.

The only time I would say to be ready for a baby when your mucus plug comes out is if it looks like there is a bloody streak in it as well. Other then that it will grow back and you might not even loose all or anymore of it!! Doesn't really mean anything unfortunately!!

My mucus plug came out and I went into labor immediately after . No bloody show but I did have contractions 😪
