(Vent) switching pediatrician!!

This is just a vent post because I am beyond upset. My husbands going to flip when he wakes up and I tell him. So, the hospital I go to for my daughters pediatrician is the same hospital I delivered her in. Seemed really good. My birthing experience was hell due to ONE nurse. I wa sim the hospital for 5 days. Well, my daughter is beautiful and growing just fine at her last appt. Her ped dr, stating he was concerned about the eyes being far apart and her toes. Well SHE LOOKS COMPLETELY norml. Most infants eyes are farther apart. Her toes are normal not far apart or anything. Well he sent her for blood work. Said it would only take 7 days at most. 7 days of worrying our asses off(sorry for the language)..and looking for anything in our precious girl that seens abnormal. I call on the 7th day. They say they dont have the results and its going to take 14 additonal days. Already irratated we have to wait longer for what could be really upsetting news regarding our baby. I call yesterday(which is when they told me to call) they said we still dont have the results. Dr calls me today and says" they never did the lab because there wasnt enough blood, we are going to refer you to a genetasis who actually knows what theyre doing" aree YOU KIDDING ME. "WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEYRE DOING" I called the genetasis and they dont have anything till AUGUST! IFf my daughter does have downsyndrome which is what they are testing for...she could have heart defects...but lets wait till august 26th!!! I am now switching pediatricians and taking her to the cleveland clinic ped clinic tomorrow
