🤬😓😴🤢

Just here to vent. I was diagnosed with hashimotos (thyroid disorder) after my first baby, and am now currently in the throws of it again after my second. I am EXHAUSTED (I know we all are, but the fatigue is something all consuming and different than regular up all night with a newborn sleep deprivation) I cannot lose weight for the life of me, I think as of this week I am gaining... my brain fog is like pregnancy brain x193029390000... I just feel like complete and utter SHIT. Feel like I’m failing my husband, my toddler, and my newborn. Finally went to endocrinologist today to get lab work done. Just want to know when I can get back on meds. (And I freakin hate taking medication)

ALL of that being said..... if you are at all feeling this way I highly encourage you to talk to you OB and request your thyroid levels be checked bc with my first I thought all of this was “normal”. It may very well be a hormone disorder, and you can find relief! I had never even heard of hashimotos before my first. There is also something known as postpartum thyroiditis which is very similar, but does not have the same lasting effects of longevity as hashimotos.
