How are you keeping your 6 month old entertained?

We play with toys, go for walks, go to the store, sing songs. I don’t know I’m just feeling like maybe he’s bored, like each day it’s the same things over & over. Or maybe he’s fine & it’s just me who’s bored with the same activities 😂

Yea, I can promise you he isn't bored. It's you who is bored. Lol. Babies/toddlers/kids all thrive off of routine. Doing the same thing everyday gives your baby the ability to see and know what is comming next and babies theive and feel most comfortable when there is a visable pattern! 😊

I felt the same way. I try to do as many activities as possible but keep things in a routine. So we wake up, do some tummy time, I put her in the bouncer with some music while I straighten up the house and make food. Then it’s breakfast for me and a snack for her. Then we go on a long walk where she normally falls asleep. My husband then comes home for lunch and we all hang out, then I do a sensory activity with her (I have a ton if you need some ideas)!! Then we have “music time” where I play the clarinet for her and let her play with an extra mouthpiece (music is really important to me). Then it’s more tummy time until the next nap which is typically a 3 hour nap, by then my husband is home and he kind of takes over the rest of the day. 
It gets old really quick, but I promise your baby isn’t bored at all. Some days my depression will hit hard and we don’t leave the bed. Other days we have so every activity under the sun. My child seems equally happy. You’re doing great  ❤️

I pulled a mirror off the wall and set it against a piece of furniture it the living room yesterday and my son loved it!  He  entertained himself for a few hours between sitting and tummy time.  He's also enjoying sensory play more lately so we'll sit outside on a towel and play with ice cubes in baggies or on a cookie sheet,  or I'll put a whole bunch of paint on a piece of paper in a baggie,  or jello or yogurt on a cookie sheet.

Game changer for us is a bed full of texture balls! I also got one of those mesh small storage boxes. I put all the texture balls in there and have the box lying sideways in view of baby. He goes nuts trying to get to the “goody” box and pulling all the balls and sometimes other small toys out of. He then gets excited because everywhere he turns is a new ball/toy. It’s also have been so create for his motor skills and learning to get to where he wants to go and learning to crawl.
