Mucus plug???please give input 😳

Has anyone lost their mucus plug at 38w and not gone into labor soon after?
I was 3cm dilated on Monday and this just came out. Really wanting to make it to July

Has anyone lost this much mucus plug without going into labor this late in the game???

My friend lost it and next day went into labor. Get ready just in case, with 3cm already and the baby’s head pushing down I don’t think you will make it into July, good luck!!!

Loosing your mucus plug doesnt mean youll go into labor. It usually just grows back. Some people loose it multiple times and some people not at all.

I lost mine the night bf i had a doctor's appointment at 38 weeks went to the hospital that next day i was 6cm dilated within an hour it was baby time

Since there's blood in it, your cervix is probably preparing itself for labor, but with that being said it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be going into labor very soon.

If I remember correctly I lost plug and would have blood when I wiped for a good week before I went into labor.

Baby will be fine if they do come Hun with it looking like it has old blood I don't doubt it will be soon

Some go into labor right away and do bunch of things to make themselves go into labor. And some lose their mucus plug and dont go in at all. Ive been losing chunks of what looks like white and green snot lol but im not in labor.

I had hours of contractions before mine came but it was right before my waters broke. Not much help sorry but I wanted to say Good luck!😃
