So I’ll start off by saying I’m only 17w1d. Due December 3rd.

A week ago today, it was confirmed that I have a subchronic hematoma. After bleeding so much that I had two drs tell me my waters broke, my MFM specialist discovered it was a SCH.

I’ve been on bed rest since I started bleeding last Sunday. We were really hopeful today that we would get news that the bleed has gotten smaller. We prayed so hard.

Unfortunately we found out that the bleed has gotten larger. We are now at a greater risk of my waters actually breaking and going into preterm labor or having a second trimester miscarriage. To say the least, this is not the news we were hoping for.

If we make it to 23 weeks, we will start getting steroid shots and if we make it to 24 weeks, we will be admitted to the hospital until either I stop bleeding or I deliver our boy.

So I need my prayer warriors. After 4 losses, we truly thought this was our rainbow baby. Please pray that we make it to 24 weeks, please pray that we make it further, please pray that the bleed heals. I need your help.
