My friend is in the Marines. I’ve decided to tell him I like him and wanted to start talking

He obviously told me how it’s difficult to start something with someone who’s not around and I understand that

We had some really good conversations but the last two conversations we had he seemed not interested in them at all. I don’t know if maybe he’s just not into me or if it’s because he’s dealing with other stuff

I don’t know how to talk to someone in the Marines because I don’t know what life’s like and I don’t know what they need not that they need anything but I’m things are different
