Suggestions on a career with decent pay and better work/life balance?

I'm an analyst at an oil&gas consulting firm. Summers are great but we have a very long busy season (from about October to April) where the hours are longer and more stressful. It was fine my first couple years but this past busy season I just missed my baby a lot.

I have a B.S. in Actuarial Science. (Sort of a math degree but with lots of finance and economics classes in there.) So I've thought about going back and taking the actuary exams. But I really enjoy finance and sort of wish I could get into that somehow.

Anyone have suggestions of jobs to look for with my education and work background? I am willing to take whatever tests or courses necessary to move on to something else.
