I am 25 weeks I went to the doctor yesterday for a check up I have been having contractions since 13 weeks. They put me on Nifedipine, while at the doctor he checked my cervix they told me that my external cervix is dilated to 2 cm and my internal cervix is almost a finger tip does that mean that labor is close. Or what exactly does it mean. Please someone reply and help me some. Thank you for your time and listening to me.
