I’m turning 18 on July 3rd and I have literally no plans at all. I’d like to spend it with 2-3 friends somewhere fancy, but...

1) My father has his birthday too the same day as me (yeah what a coincidence 😂) so my family will probably prefer to have a family night out to celebrate both birthdays (which is pretty cliche and anyway that’s what we do every year so it won’t be anything exciting for my 18th birthday)

2) I don’t want to make the rest of my friends jealous and angry that they’re not invited (but it’s really last minute and I’d anyway prefer to spend it with the least toxic friends I have). Most girls I call my “friends” are not really real friends and they most of the time make me unhappy so that’s why I’d like to avoid them.

3) I’m pretty stressed about an (important) exam I have on the 18th of July so I’m not sure it it’s a good idea partying before that (also I probably won’t have a good time because of the stress I’ll have)
