I’m just got my Medusa pierced last night and I love it but I’m scared of what others think. I know that all that matters is that I’m happy with my decisions but I always find myself wanting to seek approval from others.

It really suits you! :) 
However, I think you could show it off more by downsizing the diameter of your septum.. at first glance you don’t see your medusa, as it fills in the negative space of your septum horseshoe, making said septum/medusa look more like a full hoop.
