I’m 14 and have really good grades never done drugs never vaped never drank never been to any parties 
A nice boy asked me out today and I had to turn him down because my mom is SO against dating...I try and talk to her about it and she yells at me and tells me “NO” 
I don’t want to kiss 
I don’t want sex 
I don’t want make out sessions or shit like that I just want a boy that mine you know? That I can hold hands with and hangout with...but no my mom is SOOO against it...I can’t talk to her about anything...
I get 14 is young but I’m not going to ever do something stupid EVER

Introduce him as a friend. When I was 14, my parents were LIVID at the mention of a boyfriend. Then they met my man, and instantly loved him. Two years later at 16 they invite him to all the family dinners, she once even referred to him as her future son in law.

Whatever you end up doing - always be honest no matter what. Even though your mom sounds pretty against the situation, respect her enough to talk even if all she does is listen. My oldest is 14 (freshly 14) we recently ok'd a boyfriend - always pretty open with her about boys, sex etc. She had already been dating a boy for almost a year (which is now being charged with a felony bc he's 17 and I personally told him at that time she was only 13) he pressured her into sex and never shared it with me. I ended up finding out on my own (which didn't feel good as a mom). Long story short, always be honest whether we as parents like it or not. Hopefully your mom will at least listen and entertain the idea instead of trying to completely ban it. It's going to be an adjustment for the both of you. Hugs!

I’ve been there😪I’m 17 and I had to have a sit-down with my family to explain to them how I feel and listen to how they feel with no interruptions...there will be times when you won’t understand their reason and they won’t understand yours but it’s good to respect how they feel but still live your life in ways that benefit your happiness and overall wellness. At the end of the day you’re the only one that’s living your life🤷🏽‍♀️
