My daughter is 20 months and we have been trying to potty train. Some days are good and others she refuses to sit on the potty and gets mad. (I don’t want to force her and create a negative association). We have the summer infant potty that looks like the real thing. I find it hard to stick to it though on days when we have lots of running around. She’s petrified of public bathrooms. The loud echoes of the flushing and the hand dryers really scares her. I try to get her used to it because eventually she will use those bathrooms but it breaks my heart to see her freak out like that. What do you do when your out and trying to potty train?
