In my opinion there isn't a "normal age" whenever you feel a sexual desire and want to satisfy yourself thats up to you. Just be smart about it to avoid risk of infections (caused by using unsanitary or unsafe household items)

I was about 10. Accidentally discovered porn and started to "discover myself". Although I watch porn a lot I still didn't understand what sex was until around age 13 or 14.
