Is a burrito a sandwich?

My philosophy professor asked us this question and I can’t stop thinking about it. 
Both are a carby thing containing ingredients inside it. 
This raises the question—what makes a burrito a burrito? A sandwich a sandwich? How do we define and differentiate between the two, if at all?

A burrito uses one tortilla, so no.

A sandwich is a sandwich. The filling is held between two slices of bread.

As per the FDA it's not a sandwich.. as per myself I don't consider it a sandwich either.. if anything it's in the same category as a wrap.. and a wrap isn't a sandwich either. 
Also... Is this what people are learning in college these days?
